SPELK Studio launches interiors magazine

A North East design studio is expanding its creative output with the launch of a new digital interiors magazine.

SPELK Studio has introduced SPELK Stuff, an online publication created by Kelly and Graeme Smith to explore the character, craft and culture influencing contemporary Northern interiors. 

The magazine brings the studio’s design expertise together, offering photography, practical tips and insights shaped by the wider creative community SPELK collaborates with.

Each edition will spotlight makers and specialists across the region.

Kelly said: “We wanted to share our knowledge and showcase our product offer, as well as raising awareness of some of the fantastic brands we collaborate with.”

The Winter 2025 issue, which is out now, features contributions from 3D Virtual Spaces, Woodland Floors, Sweet Patisserie, Chiaroscuro Lighting and Urbn Nest, showcasing a broad mix of craft and design disciplines.

Blending the studio’s hands-on approach with a curated editorial style, SPELK Stuff aims to act both as a resource for readers and a showcase for Northern creativity.
