Law firm hails consistency after record results

A law firm has hailed its resilience in a fluctuating economic landscape after chalking up record results.

Ward Hadaway saw turnover rise 11.6 per cent to £53.6 million in its 2024/2025 financial year.

Bosses say the performance marks a fifth consecutive year of revenue growth and is “particularly significant given wider economic and market conditions”.

They add the results – covering May 2024 to April 2025 – demonstrate the Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Teesside-based operator’s “continued delivery against long-term growth objectives” that include doubling the firm’s size across the next decade.

Praising its performance, managing partner Steven Petrie said revenue increased across all departments at the firm – which last summer merged with Thornaby-based The Endeavour Partnership – with particularly strong performances from the firm’s housing, private client and commercial disputes teams.

He added growth was registered across all offices, with Manchester achieving a 42 per cent increase and Leeds delivering double-digit growth.

Steven said: “These results reflect a sustained period of disciplined growth.

“We have delivered consistent performance across our offices and service lines, which is particularly significant given the wider economic and market conditions.

“Our focus has remained on building strong teams, investing for the long term and delivering high-quality advice to clients across all sectors.

“Our ambition is to grow in a way that is sustainable and aligned with our values.

“The Endeavour Partnership merger and opening of our Birmingham office are clear examples of this approach.

“They broaden our expertise and geographic reach, while allowing us to maintain the culture and standards that underpin our success.”

He added the firm is set to move into a larger Birmingham base during 2026.
