Healthcare provider in good fettle with new deal
A healthcare provider has secured a multi-million-pound partnership.
One Health Group has renewed a deal with Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
Officials say the three-year agreement will build on a ten-year-plus relationship and help “provide crucial support for the NHS as it faces sustained and ongoing operational pressure”.
The deal comes after Sheffield-based One Health Group – which supports the NHS to deliver care across areas including in orthopaedics, general surgery and urology – signed five-year partnerships with Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board and South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board that replaced annual contract reviews.
Adam Binns, One Health Group chief executive, said: “We have supported Sheffield Teaching Hospital for more than ten years and look forward to continuing to do so during this agreement and beyond.”
The agreements come as One Health Group continues work on a £9 million Scunthorpe-based surgical hub, which it says will deliver “significant additional surgical operating capacity” and “free up capacity in NHS hospitals and alleviate waiting list pressures”.
