Cardo Group hits new heights with roofer deal
A building maintenance firm has expanded with a takeover.
Cardo Group has bought Aspect Group Services.
Officials say the move for the roofing, renewables and building maintenance operator has opened an “exciting new chapter”, adding it will “strengthen services and create new opportunities for staff and suppliers”.
Founded in 1972, Aspect Group Services – headquartered in Wymondham, near Norwich – works across the private, commercial and public sectors.
Hailing its addition to Cardiff-headquartered Cardo Group’s portfolio, chief executive Liam Bevan said: “Aspect Group Services brings highly regarded expertise across roofing and building maintenance, and a track record as a leading provider of property services in East Anglia.
“We look forward to welcoming the team; together, we will continue to invest in excellent service delivery, while retaining the specialist knowledge and regional focus that are key to delivering essential property services well.”
Matt Dillon, Aspect Group Services managing director, added: “This partnership will allow us to continue to provide the responsive, high-quality, trusted service customers and partners expect, supported by the additional investment, capability and expertise of Cardo Group.”
The move follows Cardo Group’s swoops for Cardiff-based fire protection services provider R. Lewis & Co and Merthyr Tydfil-based electrical and solar installation and maintenance company EFS Systems (UK) earlier this year.
