The Lawyer highlights success of Moore Blatch
The UK’s market leading independent magazine for lawyers has published its annual report which reveals the continued success of regional law firm Moore Blatch.
The Lawyer ranks Moore Blatch at 109 in its review of the country’s top 200 law firms, a rise of eight places from last year, which managing partner David Thompson said was testament to the firm’s strategy of providing clients with a top quality legal service.
“I think this really marks us out as one of the strongest performing firms in Southampton and central southernEngland. It is noteworthy that the growth has come from getting more work from existing clients and winning new clients, rather than as a result of mergers or takeovers.”
David continued, “This report is the industry benchmark for measuring success. We’re pleased that our efforts are showing in our results.’’
The rankings confirm that Moore Blatch has seen turnover rise in the last four years with litigation and personal injury the firm’s largest areas of business.
The Lawyer says this year’s report is the most comprehensive it has ever produced including all manner of data from the UK’s largest firms and key performance indicators such as financial revenue per fee-earner, profit per fee-earner, revenue per lawyer, earnings per partner, total number of equity partners, total number of female partners and leverage.
