Kitchen Door Workshop starts 2013 with business expansion
Hot on the heels of its most successful year to date, Sussex-based Kitchen Door Workshop has announced a slew of business expansion projects for 2013.
The cheap kitchen door retailer ended 2012 on a high with the launch of two flagship replacement kitchen door ranges. The two lines – Trends and Visions – are made exclusively in the UK and offer customers a huge selection of new colours, finishes and designs. Trends is a collection of no less than 19 individual door styles in a choice of 37 satin and high gloss vinyl colours, while the coolly contemporary Visions consists of one minimalist slab design available in seven ultra gloss finishes. The December product launch was followed by the firm’s first ever Christmas TV and press advertising campaign on Boxing Day.
Building on this success, Kitchen Door Workshop’s Maresfield sales office has now undergone a seasonal renovation ready for the new year. It has been doubled in size, providing twice the space to showcase the newly extended product lines. Now open and operational, the sales office is the centre of operations for client orders of Trends and Visions as well as existing favourites such as the Bella and Zurfiz ranges of replacement kitchen doors.
Along with its larger sales office, Kitchen Door Workshop has also taken on a new staff member. The recently created role of customer demand liaison has been filled following a recruiting drive in the local area and series of interviews with potential candidates. The latest addition to the team is a previously unemployed graduate who will be based in the Maresfield office and will work closely with both trade and retail customers.
Robert Clark from Kitchen Door Workshop said, “We were delighted with our business performance in 2012 and already have a series of expansion initiatives underway as a result. The launch of the Trends and Vision flagship ranges in December marked the start of a very exciting growth spurt for Kitchen Door Workshop, helped by our much larger sales office and new team member. We will be building on this growth as the year progresses with the opening of a new showroom and yet more recruiting.”
