CRG scoops home support contract with Richmond Council
Health and homecare service provider, CRG Homecare, has been appointed to a new framework agreement by Richmond Council.
The new framework is focused on delivering improved outcomes for local residents. Working in partnership with the Council, it will allow CRG to provide real improvements to vulnerable adults.
The contract, which is worth in excess of £4.5 million and has been awarded across six providers, will see the Merseyside-based organisation supply the London borough with domiciliary care (home support) staff. CRG was awarded the contract following a full tender process, which was successfully completed in January 2013.
Paul Booth, managing director of CRG South, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Richmond Council. This is a landmark contract for CRG, in what is a prestigious and high profile borough of London. The contract is set to extend the capabilities of our domiciliary care division and we look forward to building strong relationships in the south of England.”
Nick Richmond-Smith, Head of Procurement for the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, said: “We expect only the highest standards for the residents of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, and so CRG’s track record of quality assurance and their ability to implement effective and bespoke home support solutions meant they met these exacting requirements.
“As an organisation, CRG already has strong partnerships within the public sector and we look forward to developing a lasting relationship with the team to benefit residents.”
CRG is one of six suppliers that have been appointed to the framework, supplying home support services across the whole of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The contract was awarded for a period of four years. As a result of the framework agreement, CRG will be setting-up a new office in Richmond to service the council’s staffing requirements on an ongoing basis. This will bring the total number of branches operated by CRG to 15 nationwide.
CRG is a health service provider and recruitment group that was established in 2000. Currently on track to break the £20 million turnover barrier, the company specialises in the supply of domiciliary care services, supported living, qualified nursing and healthcare staff, together with medical locums, GPs, allied health professionals and health science services staff. It currently employs 130 staff from its headquarters in Merseyside.
