Complii has expanded with a deal for Celtic Fire Security

Complii heats up growth with fire security firm deal

A building safety and regulatory compliance services firm has expanded with a takeover.

Complii has bought Celtic Fire Security.

The company says the swoop “further cements its position as the UK’s most comprehensive building compliance partner”.

Based in Bromborough, in Wirral, Celtic Fire Security provides services including fire alarm and extinguisher installation and maintenance; fire risk assessments; emergency light testing; and fire awareness training.

Under the terms of the deal, the business will continue to operate under its Celtic Fire Security brand and be led by its existing team.

Sarah Dixon, Complii group chief executive, said: “Welcoming Celtic Fire Security is another exciting moment in our journey.

“This acquisition deepens our fire safety offering and extends our reach into new geographies, and I look forward to seeing what we achieve together as part of one group.”

Graham Stott, Celtic Fire Security managing director, added: “Joining Complii feels like a natural next step.

“Our team will continue to do what they do best; the difference is that we now have the resources and network of a leading national compliance group behind us.”

The deal comes just days after London-headquartered Complii bought Classic Lifts (Scotland).
